What is the MTL NewTech Meetup

Welcome to the Montreal NewTech meetup group! Our objective is to connect local entrepreneurs and to help to showcase Montreal startup companies.

The Montreal NewTech group is part of the International New Technology Alliance, which includes NY NewTech (over 5,000 members), SF NewTech, Silicon Valley NewTech and Boulder NewTech (over 2,000 members each). Each of these events pack between 200-500+ people.

The events take place on the first Tuesday of the month @7pm. The events are FREE. For more details about location and to RSVP, please visit our Meetup.com page.

So, if you’re not familiar with the NewTech Meetups, here’s how they go:

1. Four startups are selected to demo their product/service.
   - No PowerPoint presentation
   - Five minutes demos
   - Followed by five minutes Q&A
2. At the end of the demos, anybody can share any announcements to the group for 30-60 seconds.
3. We end with one hour of networking, meet the presenters, exchange business cards.
